Lets Talk about Stylized photoshoots

Lets talk about Clean, minimal, pop of color sessions.

I use to be so worried about having all the right backdrops, tons of props and things to add in.

I would drive myself crazy trying to find things, and putting them together, sometimes to only use them once and never again.

Over the last couple years, my eyes have been drawn more and more to the minimal type of sessions.

White, and clean, Bright and airy.  2021 I plan on moving towards that type of photography all together, and let me tell you why.

​​​​​​​I feel like it brings more attention to you, your family, and your child. The Focus centers more on the people, and less on what is also in the picture.

Details that you want to remember forever. fingers and Toes, eyelashes, and ringlet curls! That goofy smile, and fun loving spirit. It is my ultimate goal just to let you and your kiddos shine. Have fun, and be yourselves. And while I like to get some typical posed, look at the camera and smile shots.

I also love to make it easy, and just let things come naturally. I find this is best especially with children. You never know if they are going to smile and have a great time, or totally hate a photo session.

and while I love outdoor photos, lets face it, how many kids hate being cold. With this winter coming up, there will be many cold days. I hope that doesn't stop you from booking a milestone session with me. For any reason. 

Now lets talk about outfits.

IN the past I have just told you to wear whatever you are comfortable in.

​​​​​​​and that is still true, I want you to be comfortable. But my new favorite thing is to coordinate with my clients on what outfits they plan on wearing. I have gone as far as helping clients online shop based on what their own style is, and It is sooo much fun.

I like plain and solid colors most, not too many patterns, and in my opinion. Definitely NOT stripes. Lets keep the focus on you, your kids, your family.

​​​​​​​for girls, pretty flowing dresses are always a favorite, because lets face it, what little girl doesnt like to twirl in a pretty flow dress.

And for boys, creams, khakis, vests, light greys, suspenders. I could go on and on.
